Thunderbird vs Outlook Express

Today, more people than ever are using emails to communicate with one another. They use it to write friendly messages as well as to advertise products and other job related activities. Because of this, there are many email clients being created. Not to mention, more advanced models are created to replace previous ones. Take for example Thunderbird and Outlook Express.

Outlook is Microsoft's desktop client for sending and receiving emails. It is virtually found on every computer. Many like it as it is very easy to use as they can receive alerts for many things while not online such as how many messages one has. Emails can also be downloaded and replied to offline.

Outlook Express also allows for multiple accounts which is why it is widely used in public settings. Emails can also be read from more than one account which gives the user the option as to which account they'll reply from. Furthermore, emails are very easy to read, and if necessary, outlook works nicely with multiple email providers. While Outlook is popular and still widely used on many job sites and in many homes, Firefox's Thunderbird is now taking over.

Thunderbird has many wonderful features that will optimize the email experience. A couple notably good ones are that the user can customize his email to fit what appeals to his taste, and he could even listen to music straight from the in box! Also, Thunderbird contains features that enable users to stay organized as well as find specific emails as users can now add tags to their emails as well as filing them in the new and improved folders to keep the in box organized. Never again will people have to spend eternity searching with a search feature that halfway works, and never again will emails be all over the place.

The security features are also a plus as users are protected from fishing as well as from email scams. Spam is also filtered out better than ever as automatic updates keep the client updated to the new spam that is floating around on the web. Privacy and security are also no longer a worry as features are set in place to ensure that sensitive information is not exposed since the software is open source and is improved by many passionate developers and security specialists which makes it top of the line. This makes life much easier as the users of this client will have more time to red the messages that really matters and won't have to worry about privacy being compromised.

For those who use RSS, Thunderbird has an RSS reader. This enables users to receive updates from blogs and whatever else they should subscribe to. This also makes life easier since all the updates they want will be delivered right to their in box.

But, Has Thunderbird Really Replaced Outlook?

As a matter of fact, it really is. Outlook will now have to compete as many are catching onto the benefits Thunderbird offers. Working with email has never been this easy.
